Certified security.

The FREEJUMP AIRBAG is a protective vest specifically designed for equestrian sports to protect the rider's vital areas in the event of a fall. It can be worn over a thin layer of clothing (T-shirt, sweatshirt, or light sweater) or over a jacket.

France is the first country to adopt a standard regulating the manufacture of riding airbags as personal protective equipment (PPE). While European harmonization is pending, the NF S72-800-2022 standard ensures increased safety by establishing strict criteria for the areas to be protected, the inflation speed, and the impact tests.

The FREEJUMP AIRBAG is the first equestrian airbag certified to this standard. It reaches the required pressure and inflates fully for optimal protection in just 98 milliseconds (for size S), exceeding the standard's requirements. In addition to meeting safety standards, the FREEJUMP AIRBAG is distinguished by its ability to absorb horizontal impacts while simultaneously providing exceptional protection against longitudinal impacts along the spine.

Optimized protection zone.

The FREEJUMP AIRBAG offers optimized protection for the neck, back, lumbar spine, sacrum, pelvis, and thorax. It is designed for use with a certified riding helmet and integrates a stabilizing neck support to protect the spine and vital areas.

The neck, thorax and back protection is tailored to each size and ensures coverage of 24% of the chest circumference, 100% of the waist-shoulder length of the thorax, 20% of the chest circumference and 120% of the waist-shoulder length of the back.

Lateral protection ensures perfect torso alignment. The spine, pelvis, hips, and vital organs receive enhanced protection thanks to two torso lengths available for sizes XS, S, M, and L: a regular and a long version.

Comfort and performance.

The FREEJUMP AIRBAG is made from silky Italian fabrics with perforated sides, offering exceptional comfort and breathability. Its tailored cut and design, featuring flexible materials, ensure optimal protection and maximum comfort.

The saddle strap is equipped with a textile loop to prevent noise when it comes into contact with the carabiner of the safety leash.

Compatibility.

The FREEJUMP AIRBAG is designed to be worn both over and under compatible clothing. The NF S-72-800-2022 standard requires official compatibility testing by CRITT for all clothing worn over an airbag. The FREEJUMP AIRBAG has been tested by CRITT to ensure its compliance and safety.

In anticipation of a possible update to the standard as part of European harmonization, FREEJUMP guarantees that all clothing certified according to NF S72-800-2022 which is compatible with airbags of other brands is also compatible with the FREEJUMP and PÉNÉLOPE AIRBAG.

The FREEJUMP AIRBAG will function perfectly with any compatible garment, as long as the safety cord exits the garment at the bottom (and not through a specially provided hole).

To ensure maximum protection and optimal comfort for the rider, the FREEJUMP textile collection, including the MONA and MAX show jackets, the KLOE and KARL sleeveless down jackets, the MADDY and MATT rain jackets, and the MALLORY hoodie, has been specially designed for compatibility with the FREEJUMP AIRBAG when worn underneath. These garments are made from durable and stretchy fabrics that allow them to return to their original shape after inflation.

The FREEJUMP AIRBAG is also compatible with models from numerous other equestrian apparel brands, including: PIKEUR, VESTRUM, PÉNÉLOPE, KERRITS, JUMP'IN, STRUCK, SCHOCKEMOHLE SPORTS, EAST, TOMMY HILFIGER, VISION APPAREL, GEM, and CAVALLO.

Sizes and individual fit.

The FREEJUMP AIRBAG is available in children's sizes CHILD S and CHILD L, as well as adult sizes from XXS to XXL. Sizes XS to L come in two length options: regular and long (indicated by a "T" in the size designation) to ensure a perfect fit for taller individuals. The long version of size XS would therefore be size XST.

The children's sizes CHILD S and CHILD L are suitable for children weighing at least 25 kg and measuring at least 130 cm tall. From size XXS upwards, the FREEJUMP AIRBAG is suitable for individuals with a height of at least 1.45 m and a minimum weight of 35 kg.
